About The Position

In the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator role, you will be responsible for the accurate receipt of inbound material into inventory and pulling and preparing raw and finished goods for both production and shipment to customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • 1+ year(s) shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Computer and data entry skills required; SAP experience preferred
  • Knowledge of shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, SAP/ERP interface) preferred
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, high volume, multi-tasking environment
  • Experience using pallet jack
  • Strong attention to detail in a warehouse environment
  • Takes ownership and accepts accountability for work completion and quality
  • Team player with initiative to improve processes and procedures
  • Overtime may be required

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound material and non-inventory purchase orders, verify contents, and compare with records such as manifests, packing slips, or invoices to verify accuracy of incoming shipments
  • Record the receipt of material into company ERP system
  • Transfer material to incoming quality inspection and/or stock in appropriate warehouse
  • Organize and maintain stock shelves and warehouse in a clean, orderly fashion
  • Pick inventory and prepare as required for production
  • Pack and ship outbound product to customers
  • Accurately prepare appropriate paperwork for domestic and international shipments
  • Perform daily cycle counts and/or other inventory counts as required
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
  • Perform all duties to comply with Sartorius and ISO procedures
  • Participate in department, site, and company-wide initiatives
