About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the shipment of goods to Honda, as well as receiving parts and materials. This role requires proficiency in SAP/S4Hana and PMC systems to streamline shipping and receiving processes and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator or in a similar logistics role.
• Proficiency in SAP/S4Hana and PMC systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipping and receiving documentation.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments to Honda, ensuring compliance with delivery timelines.
• Utilize SAP/S4Hana and PMC systems to manage shipping and receiving documentation, track shipments, and update inventory records.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any shipping or receiving issues or delays.
• Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
• Work with 3PL providers to prepare and ship orders on time.
• Receive and inspect incoming parts and materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Monitor and report on shipping and receiving performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements in all shipping and receiving activities.
• Support the return of reusable packaging to OEM suppliers
• Manage the material handling fleet for the warehouse and shipping areas
• Support the replenishment of key supplies for the warehouse and shipping areas
• Support planned and unplanned department activities
