About The Position

The Service Platforms Analyst Intern position at PACCAR offers a unique opportunity for students to gain professional experience in a leading manufacturing company. Interns will work within the Service Platforms group, engaging in various analytical tasks across three teams: Service Management, Service Bulletins, and Service Manuals. This role emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and the development of analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Data Analyst, Engineering, Business, or other applicable areas of study, preferably in junior or senior standing.
  • Experience with data analytics, data modeling, data management, and data reporting and visualization (Tableau, Power BI or similar tools).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • General knowledge of automotive systems/components.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Gather information, analyze data, and assist in special projects as a Service Management Analyst.
  • Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to various stakeholders.
  • Work with product managers and business teams to gather requirements and foster data-driven decision making.
  • Review bulletins for obsoleting and archiving as a Service Bulletins Analyst.
  • Reorganize bulletin writing guides to improve training/reference materials.
  • Review published service literature to enhance coverage for truck options as a Service Manuals Analyst.
  • Review and update links to supplier service manuals and assign metadata to manuals to make them searchable and chassis specific.
  • Create data visualization/reports across all teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
