About The Position

La Cuisine International is seeking a Service and Installation Technician who is dynamic, technical-oriented, and customer-focused. This role is crucial in providing high-quality repair services, maintenance, and installations of luxury kitchen appliances and water systems, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their service journey. The technician will be expected to adhere to the company's core values and contribute to a long-term partnership within the La Cuisine family.

Requirements

  • Proven 3+ years' experience with household appliance repairs in the field.
  • Experience with high-end and luxury appliances is preferred.
  • Sealed system experience on domestic refrigeration is a plus.
  • Ability to diagnose electronic and electrical systems and read technical documents and service manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to reassure consumers in stressful situations.
  • Capacity to handle customer complaints with patience and professionalism.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail while performing repair activities.
  • Willingness to stay updated on product specifications and industry trends through training and workshops.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree in Electrical, Electronic, or a related field is preferred.
  • Residential Appliance Technician Certification (NASTeC) or General Electrician License is preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site high-quality repair services, maintenance, and installations at customer homes.
  • Effectively diagnose appliance problems and provide repairs, including installing new parts.
  • Evaluate parts breakdown to order necessary parts via the Spare Parts Department.
  • Control spare parts truck stock and maintain complete service job reports, fulfilling all corporate guidelines.
  • Work with the CSR team to schedule services and close all scheduled jobs.
  • Create technical reports for specific cases as required by management.
  • Participate in corporate and manufacturers in-person trainings twice a year, and virtual trainings as needed.
  • Maintain a personal NPS score of a minimum of +30.
  • Report to the Subsidiary Service Manager, following all guidelines required for the position.
