About The Position

That’s where you come in! As a Senior UX/UI Designer working on Direct eCommerce, you will work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and roll-out products that set the quality bar for the overall user experience. You will be responsible for our eCommerce platforms, brand display, and champion the customer by conducting experiments and making consistent improvements to the user journey. You are comfortable working in a high-scope, complex, and ambiguous product area. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in eCommerce and be passionate about building digital experiences for desktop, web, and mobile. You have designed eCommerce funnels, landing pages, carts, emails, and account portals that are both aesthetically appealing and optimized for conversions and customer retention. You will drive the overall design direction and be expected to actively seek input from appropriate key stakeholders. Strong remote work experience and communication skills are a must, as you will be providing updates to stakeholders and leadership regularly. A solid understanding of and appreciation for Wizards and Hasbro Brands is a strong plus. This position is located in Renton, WA.

Requirements

  • A Degree in graphic design, visual communications, industrial design, design strategy or equivalent degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in UI/UX Design, with a specific focus on eCommerce.
  • Proven experience working with D2C and subscription models.
  • Proven experience solving for conversion, average order value, and retention optimization.
  • Proven experience designing solutions for desktop, web, and mobile applications on a variety of platforms.
  • Strong visual design skills, layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Proven experience building UX design system, pattern library, style guide, and visual design guidelines.
  • Experience working with global teams, and strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to articulate positions and advocate design at all levels of the company.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and ability to create user-centered design solutions.
  • Experience in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Gather user requirements, design graphic elements, and build navigation components.
  • Build wireframes, interactive prototypes, and presentations as needed for proof of concept and implementation.
  • Support high-level design in developing intuitive control schemes and UX flows.
  • Communicate ideas and collaborate across teams to build designs for desktop, web, and mobile experiences.
  • Deliver appropriate level of design artifacts for the team (e.g., strategy articulation and alignment frameworks, discovery/research results, journey maps, flows, wireframes, mockups and/or prototypes).
  • Utilize data-driven research, A/B experiments, and insights to continuously improve design choices and conversion strategies.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, customer feedback, and usability best practices to inform design decisions.
