As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this role, you will leverage program management knowledge to drive cross-functional teams, implement scalable solutions, and utilize data-driven insights. You will impact the development and launch of market-defining solutions, accelerating customers' success in the cloud.   • Define and drive the strategic idea and direction for programs, establishing clear goals, objectives, and program governance frameworks.
  • Cultivate partnerships with Engineering, Product, and Program Management leadership to align strategic objectives and ensure program delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate systemic risks and issues across the program portfolio, driving preventative solutions.
  • Lead process optimization and efficiency improvements to enable scalable program execution.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels, providing visibility to senior leadership and key stakeholders, while serving as a trusted advisor to Engineering VPs, Directors, and cross-functional teams to facilitate decision-making and execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in program management methodologies, tools, and best practices, as well as with optimizing program execution.
  • Experience leading and delivering cross-functional programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
