About The Position

We are growing! SD Associates P.C. is seeking a talented Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Elkins Park, PA. We are looking for an individual who is career-minded and willing to learn, work hard, develop, and grow, and who sees themselves as an integral member of the team and a trusted business advisor. This position is full-time and will work from our office in Elkins Park, with hybrid flexibility.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of public tax experience, including previous experience working for a CPA firm
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and a CPA license
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS and tax codes
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to manage engagements
• Ability to adhere to a high degree of professional standards and client confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality tax services to entrepreneurial businesses and individuals
• Prepare, manage and file tax returns
• Maintain regulatory compliance
• Stay up to date on tax laws and advise clients
• Provides guidance and coaching to junior team members when needed
