About The Position

The HRMS Applications Senior/Lead Specialist reports to the Supervisor of HR-LMS Applications and is responsible for the support, maintenance & development of some of the Oracle HCM Cloud application suite including HCM Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management, Talent Management, ORC modules and hands-on exposure to EBS Oracle Time & Labor module. This position is also responsible for supporting other peripheral applications and interfaces used to supplement Oracle HCM Cloud and Oracle EBS R12 applications. Exposure to a learning management system and ADP payroll integrations will be a nice add-on.

Requirements

  • Functional and Technical Experience in Oracle HCM data/process of the Oracle HCM Cloud applications.
  • Experience with integration of third-party vendors or products in the HR space.
  • Experience with software development and implementation processes.
  • Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Fast Formula, BI Reports, BI Analytics, HCM Extract.
  • Previous experience in Production Support activities and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to interact with business/user community/peers to determine functional/technical requirements.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with multiple teams.
  • Flexible and adaptable in learning new functionalities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Oracle Time & Labor and Learning management application.
  • Experience in integration activities with ADP WorkForce Now Payroll and Benefit Vendor Interfaces.
  • Hands-on experience with EBS System Administrator functions.
  • Understanding of web service calls.

Responsibilities

  • Engage 50% Functional and 50% Technical skillsets.
  • Provide excellent customer support for Oracle HCM Cloud applications and related business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional team members to produce scalable, efficient, and supportable solutions.
  • Provide production support and problem-solving.
  • Translate business requirements into deliverables.
  • Understand Oracle patching schedules and testing processes.
  • Develop BI based reports and understand date-tracked table structures.
  • Investigate and resolve problems through research and functional analysis.
  • Communicate issues and coordinate UAT / Testing activities.
  • Review change management procedures and follow methodology for moving functional set-up/configuration into production.
  • Understand security and identify encryption and controls needed to protect information.
  • Liaise with external providers to resolve issues in functionality and interoperability of new cloud applications.
  • Create, modify, and execute test plans and scripts.
  • Analyze and solution application issues and assist cross-functional teams.
  • Work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
  • Take ownership of moderately complex projects with little direction.
  • Provide off hours support when needed.
