IB is used by financial professionals to deliver billions of messages across millions of chat rooms per day. This includes stock quotes, trade confirmations, breaking news alerts etc.. As a result, it cultivates one of the largest financial networks in the world. With the demand higher than ever and the competition heating up, we are energized and committed to fortifying our position as best in class. The increased demand results in our users continuing to push the limits of our app as we look to stay one step ahead. This is where the IB App Performance team comes in. The IB App Performance team is focused on improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of the most heavily used Bloomberg application. IB is critical to our clients' day to day and we set out to ensure that it can keep up with clients' growing needs. The team takes on a wide range of work focusing on both long term and near term goals. As part of this team you would have influence on current/future features developed within IB. You would also be challenged to build those features to be highly available, scalable and be low latency.
