About the position

As a Senior Product Manager at AppDirect, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development and delivery of innovative Authorization, Authentication, and API Platform services for our identity and access management solution. You will collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to align our product offerings with customer value propositions and work alongside our marketing team to successfully launch and promote new features. Additionally, you will engage directly with customers to understand their needs and feedback, evangelize your ideas and roadmap, and take on complex product initiatives within the subscription commerce industry.

Responsibilities

Guide the development of Authorization, Authentication, and API Platform services for identity solutions
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to align product offerings with customer value propositions
Work with marketing to launch and promote new features, driving customer adoption and growth
Engage with customers to understand their needs and feedback for continuous improvement of IAM and API offerings
Evangelize innovative ideas and roadmap to shape the future of product offerings
Take on complex product initiatives and solve challenges within the subscription commerce industry
Have a deep understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, SSO, identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and user provisioning
Expertise in identity federation protocols such as SAML and OAuth
Understanding of various MFA methods, including SMS-based, email-based, hardware tokens, biometrics, and TOTP
Proficiency in working with APIs and RESTful principles for integrating IAM solutions with applications, services, and platforms
Familiarity with security protocols and standards like OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos, and X.509 certificates
Knowledge of access control models like DAC, MAC, and ABAC and their application in real-world IAM solutions
Experience with cloud IAM solutions like AWS IAM, Azure Active Directory, or Google Cloud IAM

Requirements

Minimum background in the Identity and Access industry
Deep understanding of IAM concepts, including authentication, authorization, SSO, identity lifecycle management, RBAC, and user provisioning
Expertise in identity federation protocols such as SAML and OAuth
Understanding of various MFA methods, including SMS-based, email-based, hardware tokens, biometrics, and TOTP
Proficiency in working with APIs and RESTful principles for integrating IAM solutions with applications, services, and platforms
Familiarity with protocols like OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos, and X.509 certificates, and their implementation details
