About the position
As a Senior Product Manager at Tint, you will play a crucial role in driving product innovation and shaping the future of the InsurTech industry. You will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact initiatives, working closely with customers and the founding team. Your focus will be on designing and onboarding protection programs, improving performance and revenue growth, streamlining payments, and enhancing the claims handling process. This role offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on the company's growth and success, with ownership over ambiguous initiatives and the chance to work with a diverse range of industries.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Onboarding: Reduce time to value for customers by designing protection programs, determining pricing, and creating an intuitive interface.
- Performance: Provide customers with visibility on their insurance program's growth and help them increase revenue and profitability through relevant product features.
- Payments: Enable seamless billing and money transfers between all parties in the Tint ecosystem.
- Claims Handling: Ensure a fast, reliable, and seamless loss indemnification experience for customers' end users.
- Collaborate with customers, the founding team, and internal/external teams to drive product innovation and establish the product culture and team at Tint.
- Take ownership of ambiguous initiatives and drive them from 0 to 1.
- Conduct user research and partner with internal and external teams to ship impactful products.
- Use consumer insights, analytics, and market research to understand consumer needs and behaviors.
- Work in an agile environment with senior leadership, designers, engineers, and data analysts to ship products.
- Deep-dive into complex technical concepts and contribute to product definition and corner cases.
- Lead and coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and work cross-functionally.
- Bonus Points: Experience with ML/AI technologies, embedded programs in Fintech or Insurtech, underwriting or actuarial science, APIs, Saas, and/or Enterprise products. Business background and SQL proficiency are also valued.

Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a PM across the end-to-end product development process
- Experience using consumer insights, analytics, and other market research
- Comfortable working in an agile environment
- Have worked at a successful startup owning 0-to-1 product launches as well as products at scale
- Ability to quickly zoom out and see the bigger strategic picture
- Ability to deep-dive into complex technical concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and work cross-functionally
- Experience with ML/AI technologies (bonus)
- Experience with embedded programs in Fintech or Insurtech (bonus)
- Had hands-on roles in underwriting, actuarial science at insurance players before turning to Product Management (bonus)
- Experience working on APIs, Saas, and/or Enterprise products (bonus)
- Business background (MBA, CFA, Insurance) (bonus)
- SQL proficiency (bonus)
