About The Position

The Senior Portfolio Analyst is responsible for providing essential support to Portfolio Managers in managing multiple portfolios of commercial real estate loans. This role involves conducting research and financial analysis, assisting with data compilation for lender decisions, and preparing reports that inform investment decisions.

Requirements

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required with a minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
• Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
• Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.
• Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
• Ability to understand and carry out general instructions.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Requires basic analytical skills.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and financial analysis of commercial real estate properties, loans, and portfolios.
• Assist with data compilation for lender decisions.
• Make presentations of analysis that will be used for investment decisions.
• Assist Portfolio Managers in monitoring the performance of assigned commercial real estate loan portfolios.
• Provide general customer service to clients and related contacts.
• Prepare various monthly and quarterly reports for portfolios.
