About The Position

The Sr. Manager Pricing will support the HEINEKEN USA Walmart team, including account responsibility for both Walmart and Sam's Club, by driving the Strategic Pricing. This role will instill a value mindset within the organization, conduct disciplined analytics, set guardrails & monitor compliance, ensuring effective business decision-making through good understanding of topline financials and commercial processes.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics required.
  • 5+ years of related commercial, revenue management, industry experience with demonstration of analytic and information driven experiences.
  • CPG experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple data sources and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator at all levels.
  • Experience with information systems and related tools for staging and deploying information.
  • Experience with developing tools with Excel, PowerBI, and similar Business Analytics platforms for the use of cross functional teams and training teams for the adoption of created tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Revenue Growth Strategy: Support HEINEKEN USA's Walmart account team in identifying opportunities to drive sales volume, revenue, and gross profit through strategic pricing and margin management.
  • Analyze and recommend adjustments to Price-to-Retailer (PTR) and Price-to-Consumer (PTC) strategies to align with market trends and ensure optimal pricing across all regions.
  • Drive continuous optimization of prices per serving, focusing on increasing value for consumers while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
  • Partner with Walmart buying teams to submit pricing recommendations and ensure margin management supports long-term revenue growth.
  • Develop and manage effective promotional strategies that maximize sales, secure display space, and strengthen HEINEKEN USA's presence at Walmart and Sam's Club.
  • Create targeted promotional plans that drive consumer engagement and increase market share.
  • Lead post-promotion evaluations, ensuring that only profitable initiatives are scaled and that ineffective ones are optimized or discontinued.
  • Monitor competitive pricing activity and trends, identifying risks and new opportunities to outpace competitors in the marketplace.
  • Utilize tools such as Nielsen Marketplace to track pricing movements and evaluate pricing strategies.
  • Provide ongoing insights to both internal teams and Walmart buyers on competitive actions and market dynamics.
  • Work closely with regional sales managers, finance teams, and distributor partners to ensure consistent pricing strategy execution across all areas of the business.
  • Maintain alignment with Walmart's sales and marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies and promotional plans are effectively executed.
  • Embed a revenue margin growth mindset across the organization, influencing key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions that prioritize profitability.
  • Drive margin management initiatives at the Joint Business Planning (JBP) level with Walmart, optimizing prices to create sustainable revenue streams.
  • Leverage advanced analytics and business intelligence tools to monitor pricing performance, forecast trends, and support fact-based decision-making processes.
  • Drive strategic use of data to forecast the impact of price changes and sales promotions on profitability.
  • Conduct ongoing pricing performance evaluations, ensuring continuous improvement and maximizing revenue opportunities.
