About the position

As the Sr. Manager, Business Development Representative Team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of 5+ Business Development Representatives. Your main focus will be on developing and executing effective lead generation strategies, optimizing processes, and analyzing performance metrics to contribute to overall revenue growth. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align the BDR strategy with the business goals, continuously improve processes, and provide training and development opportunities for the team. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments, build relationships with key stakeholders, and present key findings to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 5+ Business Development Representatives (BDRs)
  • Provide guidance, support, and coaching to BDRs to help them achieve their goals
  • Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to BDRs
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and refine BDR strategy
  • Identify target markets, industries, and customer segments for lead generation
  • Continuously evaluate and improve BDR processes and workflows
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to onboard and develop BDRs
  • Analyze team's performance metrics and KPIs to assess individual and team performance
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams for effective lead handoff
  • Generate reports and present key findings to senior management
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate with senior management to establish team goals and objectives
  • Monitor progress towards goals and adjust strategies as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant sales/BDR experience with concrete results to show
  • At least 2+ years managing, leading, and influencing high performing BDR team of 5 or more
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as business, management, communications, or marketing is preferred
  • Highly customer-focused with ability to build strong relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
  • Data driven. Advising and guiding based on data-driven metrics, track defined targets to measure sales performance
  • Continuously identifying priorities based on business and industry need
