About The Position

As our senior consultant specialized in Financial processes, you will work closely with colleagues, ensuring we deliver value to the customer through our projects. To succeed in the role as a senior consultant, we expect you are an expert in Finance processes, good at guiding our customers in how to best utilize the IFS applications in relation to their business requirements. You should be confident in designing and documenting solutions, challenging and advising customers, and delivering on expectations thus ensuring success for both parties. You will be triggered by the contrast of understanding the business objectives and end-to-end processes, as well as digging down in details to achieve the best possible solution for both the customer and IFS. You should be used to working in projects with implementation/upgrade of systems/applications or aftermarket processes on the customer or vendor side. Additionally, you should have experience in advising customers; from scoping solutions to implementation and rollout. We expect you to continuously want to develop and learn to stay relevant and be an expert who shares knowledge and experience with customers and colleagues. This includes staying updated within your field of expertise, on technology as well as the industry segments in which IFS operates.

Requirements

• An academic background with a university degree in IT, Engineering or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with an ERP or best-of-breed system as a consultant or key user.
• In-depth knowledge of the processes in the Finance area and a recognized financial qualification.
• A profound interest in how systems can support business processes.
• Commercial focus, business acumen, and a 'can-do' attitude.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work under time pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize actions in several projects.

Nice To Haves

• Experience from working with IFS Applications.
• Experience of working in IT-projects; leading workshops, writing specifications, configuring applications, conducting training, documentation, etc.
• Experience from modern applications and mobile solutions.
• Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and XML.
• Understanding of key modelling techniques; proficiency in the use of 2C8 scope modelling tool.
• Experience and ability to act in the role of Presales when required.
