About The Position

The Senior Director, Data Analytics Practice Lead at ICF will oversee a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering data analytics solutions to public sector clients, including Defense, Homeland Security, and Federal financial markets. This role involves managing a team of over 50 professionals, defining comprehensive solutions that align with client needs, and supporting business development efforts while ensuring project delivery. The position is hybrid, based in the Washington DC area, with potential remote work options for qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in technical leadership roles on large data analytics projects.
  • 10+ years of experience in delivering analytics services for federal contracts.
  • 5+ years of experience leading solutioning efforts for complex federal proposals with a $25M floor.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of 30+ people.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related IT/Engineering fields.
  • Strong knowledge of the capture and proposal development lifecycle.

Nice To Haves

  • One or more certifications in Cloud Architecture (AWS, Azure, Google) are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead end-to-end solutions for complex RFP requirements addressing technical and staffing aspects.
  • Lead the development of solution artifacts, such as white papers, CONOPS, architecture diagrams, technical volumes, and staffing plans.
  • Collaborate with capture and proposal managers to ensure solutions align with win strategies and themes.
  • Develop and present solutions to senior leadership and customers, ensuring clarity and compliance with customer needs.
  • Author, review, and provide feedback on proposal content to ensure clarity and compliance with solicitations.
  • Manage a team of data analysts, architects, ETL engineers, GIS experts, visualization experts, data scientists, and AI/ML experts.
  • Stay updated on trends, technologies, and best practices in the federal market and data analytics domain.
  • Cultivate the ICF community of practice, ensuring practitioners stay certified and have career pathways.
  • Conduct quarterly technical reviews of engagements/projects to ensure alignment with defined solutions.
