About the position
Chartboost is seeking an experienced and motivated DevSecOps engineer to lead their team's DevSecOps solutions and ensure the success of multiple software development teams. The ideal candidate will have a track record of working with security in cloud environments and SDLC security, as well as experience with automation and security best practices. This role will involve designing, planning, and scaling Chartboost's infrastructure with security in mind, modernizing and securing applications in cloud-native environments, and introducing security and compliance into SDLC. Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and scale Chartboost's infrastructure with security in mind
- Modernize and secure applications in cloud-native environments
- Introduce security and compliance into SDLC
- Solve distributed systems challenges across services and levels of the stack
- Manage and work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS
- Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef
- Create CI/CD pipelines to deliver code to production environments
- Code in at least one major language (Python, Go, Java)
- Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management products and Vulnerability Management products (a plus)
- Familiarity with code analysis and software composition analysis tools (a plus)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container technologies (a plus)
- Operating production services on GCP/AWS (a plus)
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in info security technology or related field
- Experience with software security, secure coding, or software assurance tools and techniques
- Experience managing working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS and experience with IAM and related products
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines to deliver code to production environments
- Comfortable coding in at least one major language, such as Python, Go, Java
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management products and Vulnerability Management products (preferred)
- Familiarity with code analysis and software composition analysis tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or other container technologies (preferred)
- Operating production services on GCP/AWS (preferred)

- Pay range between $125,000 and $210,000 per year (California)
- Pay range between $120,000 and $182,500 per year (New York City and New Jersey)
- Pay range between $115,000 and $198,000 per year (Washington)
- Total compensation package may include bonus and/or equity awards
