Senior Data Scientist - Chat Advisor

The data science team at Cleo is seeking an experienced data scientist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving current machine learning models, building and productionising classifiers, and working to implement and utilize GPT. They will also be responsible for finding opportunities for model and product improvements in Cleo's extensive datasets of chat conversations, spending patterns, and app interactions. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in data science or related roles, commercial experience of deep learning & NLP methods, and the ability to write production quality code in Python and SQL. They will also have experience deploying machine learning / deep learning algorithms into production, conducting A/B experiments & measuring impact, and a strong ability to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders in a concise and engaging manner.

• Improving current machine learning models
• Actively building and productionising classifiers without dependencies on engineering teams
• Working to implement and utilize GPT to continue developing hyper-personalized AI assistant
• Conducting a wide range of ML tasks including classification, recommender systems, and NLP
• Finding opportunities for model and product improvements in Cleo's extensive datasets of chat conversations, spending patterns, and app interactions
• Writing production quality code in Python and SQL
• Deploying machine learning/deep learning algorithms into production
• Conducting A/B experiments and measuring impact
• Communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders in a concise and engaging manner
• Keeping abreast of the latest research and experimenting productively with new technologies
• Leading data science initiatives and taking ownership of services or models
• Proactively influencing the ML roadmap and driving new ideas with impact
• Experience with containers and container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Mesos, including lifecycle management of containers (nice to have)
• Experience working with AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, Sagemaker (nice to have)
