About The Position

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for the analysis, development, and enhancement of analytical and operational BI solutions to fulfill business needs. This role requires strong analytical and logical thinking, creativity, self-reliance, and communication skills. The developer will work independently or as part of a team, balancing multiple priorities while consistently completing complex tasks on time. The position involves close collaboration with end users to understand and translate business needs into well-designed and validated solutions using business intelligence tools. The developer will also maintain technical currency and certifications in their areas of responsibility and provide production support for business intelligence solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence.
• Epic Cogito Data Warehouse certification issued by Epic (to be obtained within 90 days).
• Epic Caboodle Data Model certification issued by Epic (to be obtained within 90 days).
• Epic Clarity Administration certification issued by Epic (to be obtained within 90 days).
• Experienced in logical and physical database design and hands-on data modeling techniques.
• Strong working knowledge of business intelligence concepts and designs.
• Ability to lead large projects and implement department-wide solutions and standards.
• Ability to mentor team members in the BI space.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking, creativity, self-reliance, communication skills.
• Independently complete analysis, development, and enhancement of analytical and operational BI solutions.
• Provide expertise to assist team members with analysis and development of solutions fitting enterprise solutions.
• Work independently or as part of a group and balance multiple priorities.
• Independently work closely with end users to understand and translate business needs.
• Maintain technical currency and certifications in areas of responsibility.
• Provide complete and accurate documentation for work based on current documentation standards.
• Provide production support for business intelligence solutions including problem analysis, design/modeling, implementation/coding, and testing.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on initiatives requiring business intelligence expertise.
