About The Position

As an R&D team, making sure your ideas are heard and encouraged is what we strive to do! You will create high quality, maintainable code that processes and analyzes almost 400 million events daily (and doubling every year). You will utilize one of the largest private Hadoop clusters in the world and a bleeding edge suite of technologies that push the limits of modern data processing. Your role will involve designing and perfecting data models that isolate signal in the noise of real world data and make difficult challenges possible for fellow engineers. You will also focus on quality improvement of our most valuable datasets, including fraud and low-relevance data detection. In a team of 5-7, you will be working closely with your mentor to drive your project, design and ensure best practices are applied. You can ask questions and participate in all knowledge-sharing sessions/workshops, etc. You are encouraged to actively voice your ideas whilst learning how to build and ship quality code into production which will likely affect millions of users instantly.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with developing and extending large and complex systems.
• Master in Computer science or engineering school or any relevant field.
• Familiar with technical stack: Spark/Hadoop/Hive or Scala and relevant experience in Object Oriented Programming (C#, Python, C++, Java).
• Curious about innovative technologies and able to lead personal subjects on the matter.
• A can-do attitude and the ability to work on problems collaboratively.
• Experience working in Agile environments and passionate about shipping high quality code.
• Good level of English (at least B2 intermediate).
