About The Position
ORIX's Portfolio Management team is seeking to hire a Senior Associate for its New York office. The Portfolio Management team reports to the Head of Integrated Risk and Portfolio Management and is responsible for the ongoing portfolio management and monitoring of ORIX's investments across its Private Credit, Private Equity, and Real Estate businesses. It's key function is to identify credit migration and risk mitigation strategies in coordination with the business and the Risk Management team. The Senior Associate's overall objective will be to support members of the Portfolio Management team in analyzing ORIX's portfolio exposure across its diverse lines of business. The Senior Associate will recommend, appropriate investment risk ratings through the ongoing review and analysis of financial statements, the completion of periodic reviews of such statements, liquidity and valuation analysis, covenant review and testing, monitoring of news articles and other early warning alerts, quarterly investment reporting, and the preparation of Watch-List report. In this role, the Senior Associate will work closely with the Originations and Underwriting teams to actively manage the dialogue with the underlying portfolio companies and assist in the understanding of financial performance. In parallel, the Senior Associate will also collaborate with other members of the Portfolio Management team and other stakeholders on various strategic initiatives related to portfolio management, including enhancements to data quality, management and reporting, process improvements, credit research papers, and the development of policies and procedures.
