About the position

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our growing sales team at Neara. As a Senior Account Executive, your main responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities by contacting prospects and presenting our platform and business cases. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, meeting sales quotas, and staying up to date with platform functionality and pricing models. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely for the right candidate, although it is based in Seattle.

Responsibilities

  • Complete market research to identify sales prospects
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and convert to sales opportunities
  • Present our platform and business cases to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Management
  • Report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
  • Stay up to date with platform functionality/associated services and pricing models

Requirements

  • Previous experience developing first stage engagements and converting leads from marketing campaigns
  • Ability to meet sales quotas
  • Strong communication skills to cultivate relationships with potential customers
  • Experience in a sales role, preferably in the tech industry
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably HubSpot
  • Fluency in MS Excel for analyzing spreadsheets and charts
