About The Position
Reporting to the Ying Wu College of Computing's (YWCC) Director of Academic Advisement, the Senior Academic Advisor performs all of the responsibilities of an academic advisor and requires a deep understanding of academic programs, advising strategies, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and faculty. The Senior Academic Advisor assists with: (1) Coordinating and liaising the advising team with the college and departments of YWCC and other functions at NJIT. (2) Communicating essential information from the advising team to YWCC students and faculty. (3) Coordination of the Caring About Academic Recovery and Engagement program for YWCC students.
