About The Position

The Security Technician at Alert Holdings Group LLC is responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining various security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms. This full-time position requires both independent work and collaboration with a team, focusing on ensuring the safety and security of residential and commercial customers across Hawaii.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience as a technician
• Clean Background Check - Criminal and Driving
• Valid Driver's License
• Understanding of construction sites, best practices, and worksite safety
• Ability to work with hand tools, meters, and other necessary industry-related equipment
• Ability to climb ladders and operate lifts
• Ability to lift weights up to 50 pounds
• Motivated, team-oriented, and a quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Install, service & maintain a variety of Intrusion, Camera, and Access Control Systems.
• Install cabling for a variety of low-voltage systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on systems and components.
• Work independently or as part of a team to run/install small access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
• Understand work tickets and Sedona tickets.
• Train and mentor junior installation technicians.
• Read and understand CAD drawings, blueprints, and floor plans.
• Utilize voltmeter/ohm meter, butt set, and Tone generator.
