About The Position

As a Security Supervisor at Norfolk Sheraton, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the hotel environment. You will assist in hiring and training security associates, maintain a logbook of incidents and complaints, and ensure adherence to fire and emergency procedures. Your responsibilities will also include briefing supervisors on VIP arrivals, enforcing safety regulations, and establishing control procedures in line with hotel policies. This position is essential for achieving high levels of guest service and uniformity in operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist hiring and training of the security associates
• Maintain a Hotel logbook on incidents, complaints etc. and refer them, if required to the appropriate department for follow up action
• Be aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures, and your Departments responsibility in an emergency
• Be aware of the Security policies and procedures of the Hotel, and ensure that at all times in all areas of the Hotel that they are being strictly adhered to
• Brief Supervisors on VIP arrivals and other events, which will necessitate additional or special preparations
• Conform to and enforce company policies & procedures in order to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service
• Establish control procedures in all operation aspects in accordance with hotel's policy
• Enforce safety regulations and house rules
• All other duties as assigned
