Motorola Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Security & Privacy Architect to join our team. This is a remote position, based in the US East Coast time zone, to work with a global team. This role is primarily responsible for working with our customers and internal teams in both pre-sale and post-sale environments to answer the question of how we address the customer's security and privacy needs, and how we fit into the customer's technical ecosystem. This role will consult heavily with customers directly and therefore needs to be able to communicate effectively both from a technical perspective as well as delivering business outcomes.

  • Generate and maintain architectural artefacts for Noggin's internals, products, and services for use in product development, sales, projects, and customer success.
  • Manage Noggin's technical knowledge base across infrastructure implications, security requirements, API integration, cloud storage, data encryption and so on.
  • Analyze requirements for technical fit to assist with determining bid feasibility.
  • Design, research, cost, and prepare responses to technical requirements as part of pre-sales bids.
  • Client-facing experience with an ability to interact directly with senior-level and technical stakeholders.
  • Present Noggin's technical architecture and capabilities to customers and potential customers in an interactive environment.
  • Research and prepare responses to security, privacy, and other non-functional questions from customers.
  • Research, prepare for, and manage compliance and certification activities.
  • Feed gathered ideas, demands, standards, and trends back to product and service teams to enhance Noggin's offering.
  • Update professional knowledge by keeping up to date with industry trends, ideas, techniques, and professional publications.
  • Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of professional technical experience.
  • 2+ years experience with compliance programs such as ISO27001, SOC2, FedRAMP, and/or StateRAMP.
  • 3+ years experience answering non-functional questions for RFPs, and/or risk assessments.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract.
  • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with Software architecture.
