About The Position

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in hospital security, police, or emergency medical services.
• IAHSS basic certification.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas, focusing on locations with previous security issues.
• Identify unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas to prevent theft and injuries.
• Investigate thefts and complaints involving potential criminal misconduct.
• Prepare and submit accurate written reports and maintain logs of incidents.
• Maintain accountability for valuables and evidence in custody.
• Act as Dispatcher using integrated security systems to respond to occurrences.
• Assist with workplace and domestic victims and respond to medical emergencies.
• Participate in departmental committees and cross-train in other locations.
• Ensure all required training is up-to-date and maintain training records.
• Maintain all hospital-issued uniforms and equipment.
