About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background investigation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform long periods of walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Manage security operations to minimize injury risks to clients and staff.
• Conduct searches of new admissions, clients, and visitors to prevent contraband.
• Check and secure all buildings, ensuring windows are closed, doors are locked, and lights are off during non-working hours.
• Enforce SATC policies and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining resident to staff ratios.
• Support staff members with combative residents using CPI techniques.
• Coordinate searches with staff and law enforcement agencies.
• Conduct scheduled and requested room searches.
• Monitor traffic flow and parking, following traffic control policies.
• Check fire extinguishers monthly and report deficiencies.
• Respond to fire alarms and report any deficiencies.
• Complete reports by recording observations and surveillance activities.
• Maintain work schedules and approve leave as needed.
• Recommend and initiate personnel actions such as promotions and disciplinary measures.
