Summary
Description

About the position

We are seeking a conceptually and technically skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic Enterprise Systems team at KAYAK. As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a vital role in building our new Salesforce platform for our Business Travel unit. You will collaborate with various commercial, customer support, tech/product and finance partners to convert business requirements into customized solutions, and build comprehensive lead management, customer onboarding and contract management as well as customer support and billing workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Define the data structure with business, tech and analytics team members.
  • Design and develop customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning LWC Components, and other related technologies.
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations with other systems.
  • Develop and maintain data migration and integration processes.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Salesforce applications.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its various components.
  • Proficient in Apex, Lightning LWC, and other Salesforce development tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST, SOAP, or other web services.
  • Proven understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
