About the position

This role is for a Salesforce Business Analyst at Kinaxis in Chennai, India. The job overview states that the candidate will have the opportunity to join an amazing company with a strong culture. Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, operating model, and processes
  • Improve user experience, process efficiency, and productivity through business process improvements and technology solutions
  • Conduct communications, business process analysis and mapping, data analysis, requirements elicitation and documentation, system configuration and administration, project coordination, documentation, and training
  • Provide support for enhancements to the Salesforce platform
  • Apply industry standard best practices to ensure the platform is robust, healthy, current, and fulfilling the needs of the business
  • Build and design solutions for Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support business units on various platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, Salesforce Community Cloud, Gainsight CX/PX, ZoomInfo, 6sense, Outreach, etc.
  • Identify and analyze business processes, user and system requirements, and support existing suite of Sales, Marketing & Customer Support solutions
  • Manage the backlog of Salesforce improvement opportunities using an Agile approach
  • Provide business analysis, implementation, integration, configuration, and testing excellence in support of the Salesforce platform
  • Support the implementation of new projects and provide support for the Salesforce platform, apps, upgrades, enhancements, fixes, and features
  • Interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reports and analysis through presentations and dashboards
  • Have 4+ years of functional/professional experience in business analysis, project management, testing, and application support, with a focus on implementing, configuring, and supporting Salesforce
  • Experience with design, configuration, and/or support of Salesforce apps such as ZoomInfo, Outreach, 6sense, Gainsight, or similar tools preferred
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & Agile best practices
  • Ability to translate high-level business requirements into functional and system requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud technologies, object-oriented, and web-based systems, applications, environments, and relevant tools/technology
  • Experience completing service and support tickets, reducing backlog, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve user experience in a high tech, global organization
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases

Requirements

  • 4+ years of functional/professional experience in business analysis, project management, testing, application support, with most of the time spent implementing, configuring and supporting Salesforce with a focus on CPQ. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Salesforce Communities with custom configuration of Salesforce are also desired experiences to have.
  • Experience with design, configuration and/or support of Salesforce apps such as ZoomInfo, Outreach, 6sense, Gainsight, or similar tools preferred.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & Agile best practices.
  • Ability to translate high-level business requirements into functional and system requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud technologies, object-oriented, and web-based systems, applications, environments, and relevant tools/technology.
  • Experience completing service and support tickets, reducing backlog, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve user experience to reduce tickets in a high tech, global organization.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
