The Entry Representative in Sales Support is responsible for performing administrative and clerical tasks. They help in maintaining customer databases, processing orders, and scheduling sales meetings and appointments. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. The Entry Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth sales operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Accurately enter and process customer orders
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled and shipped on time
  • Resolve any order discrepancies or issues
  • Assist sales team with administrative tasks
  • Prepare and distribute sales reports and presentations
  • Coordinate sales meetings and events
  • Monitor and track inventory levels
  • Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory counts
  • Communicate any inventory shortages or overstocks
  • Enter and maintain customer and product data in company database
  • Update and maintain customer accounts and contact information
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Manage and organize sales documents and files
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for sales team
  • Handle incoming calls and emails
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
  • Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills
  • Mentor and train new sales support team members
