About the position

The Sales Field Administrator position at Meritage Homes is designed to provide administrative support to the sales team, allowing sales counselors to focus on sales conversion. This role is not intended to transition into a sales position. The primary responsibilities include maintaining the community's appearance, overseeing spec inventory, conducting spec completion walks, managing MLS inventory, and overseeing community signage. The Sales Field Administrator will support sales operations in a Defined Sales Area, coordinating various tasks to ensure smooth operations and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support Meritage sales operations and sales counselors in a Defined Sales Area.
  • Manage inventory and coordinate final walks with construction.
  • Determine readiness of homes for TourFactory and MLS.
  • Oversee MLS listings, ensuring accuracy and optimized verbiage.
  • Review Showcase Home summary vs Kiosk for cancelled homes.
  • Manage appraisals and provide access to homes for appraisers.
  • Maintain a log of closed homes for appraisers.
  • Coordinate 3rd party inspections.
  • Work with the marketing team on community presentation and signage.
  • Manage homesite signage placement and upkeep.
  • Ensure accuracy with Sales Architect.
  • Conduct competition shops.
  • Compile monthly updates for salespeople and management.
  • Coordinate with operations to present model homes effectively.
  • Manage lockbox technology for realtor access.
  • Support field marketing efforts focused on agents.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of home sales support experience, preferably in new homebuilding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Project, and Excel.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience with local MLS systems preferred.
  • Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict and resolve problems professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams.
