About the position
Fathom is seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Executive to drive the growth of their medical coding automation platform. The role involves identifying and winning new accounts, collaborating with the Fathom team and channel partners, sharing learnings to enhance the sales process, and maintaining the CRM. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of outside sales experience, a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas, expertise in healthcare sales and revenue cycle management, and a willingness to travel. This is an exciting opportunity to expand Fathom's presence in the healthcare industry and work with high-profile clients.
Responsibilities
- Selling: identify, contact, and win new accounts, and shepherd those accounts from PoC into implementation
- Collaborating: work with the Fathom team as well as channel partners to win new business
- Teaching: sharing learnings from the field with sales and marketing leadership to enhance the sales process
- Building: updating and maintaining the CRM to support marketing and forecasting activities
- 5+ years of outside sales experience, working with director through C-level clients to personally sell and close $500K+ accounts
- Demonstrated success by meeting or exceeding quotas on a consistent basis
- Deep and relevant healthcare sales expertise where you have sold RCM services to large providers, and/or have sold to providers from within a startup environment
- Willingness to travel as necessary to develop and maintain customer relationships
Requirements

- Demonstrated success by meeting or exceeding quotas on a consistent basis
- Deep and relevant healthcare sales expertise where you have sold RCM services to large providers, and/or have sold to providers from within a startup environment
- A willingness to travel as necessary to develop and maintain customer relationships
Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $200,000 USD base and $240,000 - $400,000 USD OTE
- Opportunity to work with director through C-level clients and personally sell and close $500K+ accounts
- Demonstrated success by meeting or exceeding quotas on a consistent basis
- Deep and relevant healthcare sales expertise, specifically in selling RCM services to large providers or within a startup environment
- Willingness to travel as necessary to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Ability to close sales by understanding customer pain points, building strong relationships, and doing whatever needs to be done
- Comfortable connecting with and leading sales calls/meetings with a variety of levels from directors to C-level executives
- Willingness to work multiple levels of the organization to see a sale through from pilot to implementation
- Resourcefulness and ability to leverage creativity and perseverance to create and capture opportunities
- Fluent in the language of revenue cycle organizations
- Bonus points for sales experience with contracts in excess of $1M, building sales processes in a startup, selling to large health systems, and selling to medical billing organizations.
