About the position
Workato is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to join their expanding sales team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in remotely managing a diverse territory and thrive in a start-up environment. Responsibilities include uncovering and developing new sales opportunities, building a strong pipeline, and collaborating with marketing and customer success teams. Responsibilities
- Uncover and develop new opportunities from outbound activities
- Build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities to deliver on sales targets
- Focus on sales opportunity generation programs and their execution including email and telephone activities
- Collaborate and participate proactively with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams
- Set up meetings for the Sales Team and help build the company pipeline
- Work closely with the Marketing Team on campaigns and GTM
Requirements
- Demonstrated successful track record in remotely managing a large diverse territory
- Comfortable in a start-up environment where personal performance is critical
- Flexibility and determination to participate in any activity to ensure success
- Experience in uncovering and developing new opportunities from outbound activities
- Ability to build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities to deliver on sales targets
- Familiarity with prospect profiles in IT, Business Operations, Sales/Marketing/Support Operations
- Proficiency in sales opportunity generation programs and execution, including email and telephone activities
- Excellent collaboration and proactive participation with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams
- Enthusiasm, expertise, and creativity in contributing to the company's goals

- Knowledge of business applications, especially applications used in Sales, Marketing, Customer Support such as Google Apps, Outreach, Zoominfo, Slack and SFDC
