About the position
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at MFG and Shapeways, you will play a crucial role in the company's growth by scheduling product demonstrations for new manufacturing prospects. You will be responsible for cold calling leads, meeting sales quotas, and utilizing the company's CRM system. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales appointment setting, possess exceptional communication skills, and have a positive, team-player mentality. Join our team and contribute to the efficient discovery of buyers and manufacturers in the custom manufacturing marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Cold calling/contacting leads from referrals, marketing campaigns, sales development strategies, targeted lists, and existing customer & prospect databases
- Meeting and exceeding company assigned quotas and KPI standards
- Setting online product demonstrations for potential suppliers for Sales Account Executives
- Live and breathe out of the company's CRM - providing accurate detail on all activities at all times
- Being flexible; there will be other selling opportunities that present themselves and we want to add folks to the team that like the challenge
- Being attune to the industry landscape and market trends
- Experience in B2B sales appointment setting
- Experience using modern sales technologies; Hubspot, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator comfort are a plus
- Exceptional and engaging communication skills
- Strong business acumen with a focus on continuous development and improvement
- Ability to work independently with very little guidance and collaborate closely with peers, cross-functional teams, and leadership
- A proven history of overachieving targets and KPIs
- Possess a positive, can-do, team-player mentality/attitude
Requirements
