About the position
Huntress is seeking a talented and passionate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team and support company growth. The SDR will be responsible for identifying potential net-new accounts and converting them into meetings for the Account Executive sales team. This role involves outbound cold calling, handling inbound opportunities, and effectively communicating the value proposition of Huntress. The ability to generate and qualify leads is crucial for the success of the company.
Responsibilities
- Establish rapport and trust with potential partners via phone to learn about their business
- Set qualified meetings within the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) using best practices and standard procedures
- Achieve metrics by utilizing multiple communication tools such as phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Stimulate interest in Huntress and focus on the value the company can provide
- Identify new accounts by researching and qualifying them through LinkedIn and other methods
- Answer client questions with honesty, professionalism, and empathy
- Continuously improve cold calling skills, messaging tactics, and pipeline management based on best practices, company training, and feedback
- Complete tasks and respond to inbound inquiries promptly
- Thoroughly document all interactions and prospecting efforts in the CRM system while maintaining good data hygiene
- Work collaboratively with peers and management to help the team achieve success
Requirements
- 8+ months of experience in a quota carrying, outbound B2B SaaS sales position
- Experience with outbound cold-calling
- Exceptional time management skills including the ability to prioritize competing tasks
- Comfortable navigating multiple platforms and systems simultaneously
- Enjoy working collaboratively to achieve individual, team, and company goals
- Interested in working in a fast-paced environment at a high-growth organization
- Demonstrate empathy and thoughtfulness in professional communication
- Coachable and eager to learn new things
- Demonstrate a team-before-self mindset
- Ability to pay close attention to detail when taking notes, setting appointments, and following processes
