About the position
The Sales Account Director position at Split Software is responsible for driving business growth and expanding the customer base and market share. The role involves identifying, qualifying, pursuing, winning, and closing business opportunities within a designated territory. The ideal candidate should have strong sales skills, be located in a metropolitan area in the Northeast United States, and have the ability to build executive relationships. The position also requires meeting revenue quotas, maintaining accurate sales forecasting, and providing oversight during the implementation process.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed revenue quota and bookings
- Monitor and maintain a pipeline of opportunities and demand generation for consistent growth
- Establish and maintain accurate sales revenue forecasting procedures
- Build a network of executive relationships across industry, community, and business groups
- Successfully close new business by qualifying opportunities and securing meetings with key decision makers
- Stay current and informed on all new campaigns and communicate their objectives and relevance to the sales team
- Facilitate alignment and effective exchanges within the sales team and with internal/external partners/customers
- Analyze data, understand trends, and prepare applicable plans
- Provide sales oversight during the implementation process and ensure customer expectations are met
- Manage existing customer relationships and work towards complete customer satisfaction
- Collaborate and work collaboratively at all levels
- Continually refine consultative selling skills and participate in training programs
- Previous experience and skills in selling enterprise software
- Comfort with senior level meetings and presentations
- Strong communication skills at different levels within partner and end user organizations
- Manage the sales cycle with continual buy-in from the customer
- Intellectually curious and willing to invest time and energy into learning
- Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
- Ability to establish rapport and gain trust with different personalities
- Good team player with enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork
- Organizational skills to manage accounts and territory effectively
- Provide executive presence in strategic accounts representing Split
Requirements
