About The Position

The position involves collaborating with other health professionals to organize, implement, and evaluate the quality of patient care. The role requires performing specific nursing duties within the scope of practice as stated in the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas and adhering to the standards and expectations of the institution, supported by the organization's mission, vision, and core values. Responsibilities include administering injections per physician orders, cleaning and packaging instruments, and maintaining exam rooms. Additionally, the position involves monitoring inventory and ordering patient supplies as required, reviewing and updating vaccines in the Athena EHR, assisting providers with procedures, scheduling and pre-authorizing outpatient diagnostic procedures and referrals, and coordinating provider schedules as necessary. The role also includes performing diagnostic testing such as ECGs, spirometry, and ear irrigation as needed, along with other duties and assignments as required or requested.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license in Arkansas.
• Knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas.
• Experience with electronic health records, specifically Athena EHR.
• Ability to perform diagnostic testing and assist with medical procedures.
