Your summer with us will provide a comprehensive 'learning by doing' experience that offers a realistic look at what it means to be a Gallagher Risk Control Consultant. You will have an opportunity to work in National Risk Control, within Gallagher Global Brokerage, in one of five areas, using your skills, knowledge, and experience to help clients analyze and understand the risks of their operations and develop and implement controls to advance their organization's profitability and success.

Requirements

• Rising sophomores and juniors with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027.
• Availability to participate within program dates: June 2nd, 2025, to August 1st, 2025.
• Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Gallagher consultants, producers, and underwriting teams to understand Gallagher's risk improvement, insurance, sales, and marketing process.
• Attend various weekly training engagements to develop critical qualities of a successful consultant, client service, and sales professional.
• Participate in innovative risk improvement competitions to challenge your passion for prevention and mitigation of accidents and business disruption.
• Learn about Gallagher's Risk Management, Benefits, Wholesale, and Claims businesses to understand clients' needs and opportunities for growth.
• Contribute to operational improvements by providing input and suggesting solutions while preparing client risk improvement strategies.
• Assist with research and build internal and external resources to promote the evolution of the National Risk Control model.
• Integrate new technologies within existing tools and processes to improve efficiency and visibility for effective risk improvement.
• Learn from Loss Control and Claim Professionals in the field through job shadowing at client locations.
