About the position

The job overview for this position is that the Marketing Development Representatives at DevRev are responsible for expanding the company's customer base and building a revenue pipeline. They use prospecting strategies to identify potential customers and initiate the first outreach. The goal is to refine high-quality prospects and target early adopters who are experiencing challenges in their customer convergence. MDR members are expected to provide feedback to the Product and Engineering teams and help refine the go-to-market scripts. Activities in this role include personal outreach to qualify new users and engage with them through various channels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead marketing development efforts to expand DevRev's customer base and generate revenue.
  • Utilize prospecting strategies to identify potential customers and initiate initial outreach.
  • Refine high-quality prospects and target early adopters who face challenges in aligning their companies with customers.
  • Provide personal outreach to new users, qualifying them and moving them to the activated stage.
  • Engage in product-oriented, in-app interactions with users.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine go-to-market scripts and provide feedback.

Requirements

  • Marketing development representatives lead from the front, expanding DevRev's customer base and building a healthy revenue pipeline for the company.
  • Prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiate the first outreach with potential customers.
  • Refining high-quality prospects to reach out and search for early adopters who feel pain in how their companies converge with customers.
  • Enjoy helping refine go-to-market scripts and providing feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Personal outreach to new users to qualify and move them to the Activated stage.
  • Product-oriented, in-app, and interactions with Do.
