We're looking for a highly motivated Revenue Accountant to join our expanding finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited about scaling accounting operations at a high-growth startup. You'll play a key part in ensuring timely financial reporting, supporting audit readiness, and managing day-to-day accounting operations—with a primary focus on accounts receivable process.

Requirements

  • 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth environment or public accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Understanding of U.S. GAAP (specifically ASC 606) and general ledger accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Located in the Greater Seattle Area.

Nice To Haves

  • SaaS or technology industry exposure.
  • Experience with accounting systems (Maxio, NetSuite & Salesforce).

Responsibilities

  • Own the full-cycle accounts receivable process.
  • Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment issues.
  • Apply payments to customer accounts and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support the month-end close by preparing journal entries, revenue reconciliations, and AR review.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in daily tasks.
  • Assist with annual financial audits, including providing documentation and support for revenue transactions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure accurate understanding of revenue reporting and contracts.
