Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related field.
• At least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Professional Engineer (PE) may be required, depending upon field of expertise.

• Maintains a DoD Security Clearance.
• Experience managing large defense contracts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the engineering team to ensure hardware and payload designs meet scientific requirements.
• Perform applied research and conduct analytical and statistical studies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to other researchers.
• Analyze electrical designs and assess power design outcomes using statistical techniques.
• Manage large data sets through software.
• Design, build, and test specialized equipment for national defense, space exploration, or environmental research.
• Coordinate with procurement and human resources to ensure the team has necessary resources.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive communication and timely delivery of products.
