About The Position
The position involves assisting with the admissions process for the EOP and Renaissance Scholars programs, including reviewing applicant files and making recommendations. The role requires guiding applicants through the admissions process and maintaining documentation related to students' foster youth status. Additionally, the position includes responsibilities for data collection, organization, and reporting for the Renaissance Scholars Program, as well as coordinating seminars, workshops, and events. The individual will also assess students' basic needs and direct them to off-campus resources, collaborate with community partners, and recruit foster youth students to increase enrollment in the program. The role requires travel to represent the CSU San Bernardino EOP Department at local events and may include other related duties as assigned.
