About The Position

The Regional Human Resources Manager (RHRM) manages the human resource function for the store operations in an assigned region to include staffing analysis, positive employee relations, training and development, recruiting and retention, and regulatory environment compliance. The RHRM consults with and advises multi-level store operations managers to ensure all qualitative measures of people management are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent years of experience
  • 1-2 yrs. experience in multi-unit/ field HR management, retail industry, and managing HR function for company having 200+ employees
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
  • Current Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and/or SHRM Certification preferred but not required
  • Established selling, coaching, training, customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrates ability to assess and develop talent
  • Established time management, prioritization, delegation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates ability to motivate and lead functional teams to deliver results

Responsibilities

  • Oversees human resource functions of assigned regional stores, including but not limited to, staffing, training, scheduling, and employee relations
  • Ensures stores are staffed to meet customer service requirements and diversity standards
  • Supports talent acquisition initiatives and contributes to recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, selecting and training high caliber store personnel throughout the region
  • Builds and maintains professional relationships with trade schools, military job placement centers and employment agencies
  • Monitors and assists in managing activities related to Risk & Safety Management
  • Ensures all managers follow company policies, accident procedures, and loss prevention procedures
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations at the federal, state and local levels
  • Accountable for human resources performance of stores in assigned market
  • Advises Regional Manager on all matters impacting the human resources function of the region
  • Monitors and interprets HR key performance indicators (KPIs), P & L's, targets, projections, and labor management
  • Informs Divisional Human Resource Manager on all matters that can adversely impact the HR compliance of the region, divisional and company
  • Assists Regional Manager in the development of an annual business plan focused on customer satisfaction, sales growth, maximizing profit, and employee engagement
  • Investigates complaints and concerns in a timely manner
