About The Position

The role will have technical responsibility for the coordination and execution of Projects involving device testing, device characterization and technical support for device-based claims. As an electrical/device specialist, this role response to: Work with regional R&D team and commercial team to establish business strategies for regional/global initiatives (claim and demonstration). Deliver device-based testing and data to identify Duracell product performance advantages. Plan and setup consumer study to understand consumer relevant benefit to support regional claims. Utilize hands-on engineering skills to develop test methods, conduct tests and write technical reports. Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help preparing budgets. Hardware development and troubleshooting. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineer, Computer Science or equivalent degree OR Relevant Associates Degree with minimum 3 years of work experience in electrical testing and/or programming
  • Familiar with electrical test instruments such as: DC Power Supply, Multimeter, Oscilloscopes, Lux meter, NI cDAQ and DC Power Analyzer, MACCOR etc.
  • Basic knowledge on at least one of following programming: VB, C++, Java, Python etc.
  • Experience on electrical design and development such as PCB layout, circuit design/debugging
  • Intermediate level of using Microsoft Office tools
  • Problem solving, and organizational skill
  • Strong presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Experience in design, configure and deploy data acquisition and control systems will be a plus
