About The Position

The Quality Finish Process Auditor's responsibility is to inspect components/assemblies to ensure accuracy and completeness of products. This role involves documenting process issues (defects, non-conformances, etc.) in the relevant quality management system, performing required frequency of audit checks, and relaying audit defect information to area leaders. The auditor will engage positively with team members from all disciplines to ensure common goals are being met, including production, material handling, lean manufacturing, safety, maintenance, and shipping/receiving. The position requires readiness to work overtime hours as necessary, including Saturdays, to complete production schedules in a timely manner. Additionally, the auditor must provide adequate care and maintenance of all equipment and resources used, including performing required calibrations and preventive maintenance where necessary.

Requirements

  • High school degree required; college degree is a definite asset.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work closely with others to solve problems and follow-through on solutions.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow basic instructions and prints.
  • Ability to operate and understand measurement tools (tape measures, micrometers, gauges, calipers, levels, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Proven quality assurance and auditing experience in a similar industry preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.
