About The Position

The Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for conducting quality control inspections and package testing on in-process materials and finished products. This role ensures compliance with FDA, state, OSHA, AATB, and ISO regulations and standards, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the production process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of three (3) years experience with quality control inspections is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for medical devices.
  • Experience with automated inspection systems and familiarity with GMP and SOP's to ISO standards is a plus.
  • Ability to use standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to show initiative in assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of raw materials, components, and assemblies for conformance to specifications.
  • Follow verbal and/or written instructions such as detailed drawings, production traveler, work instruction, and process specifications.
  • Verify that inspection equipment, machinery, and tools are calibrated per company policy.
  • Document non-conformance when found and bring issues to the attention of the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Work efficiently to achieve targeted goals as set by the production schedule.
  • Practice Good Manufacturing Practices and inspection techniques at all times.
  • Adhere to the company Code of Conduct and all other company policies.
  • Complete introductory and annual training to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and uphold ethical business practices.
