About the position

As a Quality Assurance representative, you will be the first point of contact for daily line support issues. Your role involves troubleshooting product and process-related issues, identifying root causes, and collaborating with Quality Engineers and product teams to enhance risk reduction and error-proofing processes. You will also drive defect awareness training for production associates, provide input on non-conforming products, and assist in corrective actions. Additionally, you will perform internal quality audit readiness checks and prepare necessary reports and reviews, while being responsible for the timely analysis of customer complaints and reviewing calibration certificates and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Quality Assurance as the first point of contact for daily line support issues.
  • Troubleshoot product and process-related issues and identify root causes.
  • Work with Quality Engineers and product teams to identify areas for risk reduction and error-proofing processes.
  • Drive defect awareness training with production associates.
  • Provide input into the disposition for any non-conforming product.
  • Identify appropriate corrections and corrective actions with support team members.
  • Perform internal quality audit readiness checks.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports/reviews.
  • Analyze customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Review electronically saved calibration certificates/reports.
  • Perform basic microbiology sampling/testing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with quality inspection in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP-regulated environment.
