Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote US

• Design and develop automated test scripts and tools to streamline software testing process
• Collaborate with teams to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Execute test cases meticulously, identify defects, and report issues with clarity and precision
• Dig deep into the codebase to uncover bugs and glitches
• Utilize analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and document software defects
• Advocate for the adoption of automation in software development lifecycle
• Educate and guide team members on benefits and best practices of test automation
• Continuously evaluate and enhance quality assurance processes and methodologies
• Identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions
• Implement best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment

• 4-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance testing
• 2-3 years of focused experience in automated testing strategy at all layers of the application, especially at the API and UI layers
• Strong background in programming
• Experience in scripting languages and automation frameworks
• Ability to design and develop automated test scripts and tools
• Collaborative and able to work with teams to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and document software defects
• Advocate for the adoption of automation in the software development lifecycle
• Continuous evaluation and enhancement of quality assurance processes and methodologies
• Ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
