The Public Relations Specialist works closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager to develop, manage and implement programs designed to create and drive media coverage and maintain a favorable public image of the company. The PR Specialist initiates the activities, functions, events, and initiatives pertinent to public relations, media relations and social media in order to support the goals and objectives of the overall Marketing Plan. He/she produces press releases specific to appropriate markets; decides prioritization and how to best utilize available resources; seeks creative ways to maximize publicity for the company. This person also assists with a wide range of programs for broadcast, web and publications, including developing PR strategy, creating and implementing media projects.
